How to obtain Continuing Education (CE) Credits
How to obtain Continuing Education (CE) Credits
If you have registered to receive CEs, here’s a general step-by-step guide to obtaining CE credits using Webex Event platform:
- Once you log in to the application, click on the Agenda.
- Select the session that you are interested in attending.
- You will find specific information about the selected session, such as date and time and location. Additionally, you will find a description of each presentation.
- If the session you are interested in offers a Continuing Education (CE) Credit, depending on the session (in-person, vs. virtual), you may find one of the two surveys listed below in the survey section.
- Alternatively, if you are on the event app’s homepage, clicking on the Survey icon will take you to the individual surveys.
- Each day, we will send reminders to take these surveys at the end of each session.
- You must remain in the session and take the survey to receive full credit.
- We may use random pulls to gauge the attendance for these sessions. The steps are identical in the web-based app and the phone app.
- Moderators will be present for each session, facilitating presentations and helping our attendees. Please reach out to them if you have any issues in any specific session.
- If your phone is not equipped with the proper technology to complete the surveys, please reach out to the session moderator.
- For those of you who would like to access the conference application for both in-person and the virtual cloud gathering via your personal computer, you can do so by visiting the link to the web-based application (Webex from your computer internet browser): https://app.socio.events/MjQyNDQ%3D
Yes, You Can Still Add CEs to Your Registration
The 2023 TCOM Conference offers Continuing Education (CE) credits for attendees. The National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) offers CEs for selected in-person sessions, and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) offers CEs for Cloud Gathering virtual sessions. You are required to register, attend CE-eligible sessions and fill out surveys at the end of each qualified session in order to receive CE credits.
2023 TCOM CONFERENCE Cloud Gathering (Virtual)
The process is almost identical to an in-person session:
- Once you log in to the event application, you can select the specific session you want to attend.
- You will find a unique Zoom link under the livestream section associated with each session.
- Click on the link and you are in!
- Please note that these sessions will be recorded, and moderated.
- The process is identical on both phone and web-base application.
- We tried to leave small gaps between the sessions where we could, to provide quick breaks in between the sessions.
- To obtain Continuing Education (CE) credits you can follow the same steps as mentioned on page 4 of this brochure.
