The team at the IPH Center is proud to celebrate Soma Chakraborty Patra’s participation in the 2024 UK Women’s Forum Annual Conference. The conference, held on December 10, 2024, at the Gatton Student Center, brought together women from many fields with the theme “Standing Strong: Empowering Women to Define Their Path”.
Soma attended as a speaker and presented a talk titled “Be Unstoppable: Self-Love isn’t Selfish, It’s Important. Breaking the Glass Ceiling” for participants to learn to embrace their inner strength, overcome challenges, and pursue their dreams with confidence. Her workshop was designed for all women, and especially women of color, to explore strategies to silence self-doubt, navigate life’s curveballs, and thrive in their careers or passions.
Soma’s contributions show her dedication to promoting gender equality and strong leadership. Her work aligns closely with the IPH Center’s mission of innovation and supporting positive change. We are proud of Soma for being on our team and making an impact at this important event.
