Working with the Chamarro Culture-John in Guam

Last week Dr. John Lyons headed to Guam to meet with folks to discuss the reliability and validity of the CANS and ANSA.  It’s not just about having the tools, it’s about how we use the framework of TCOM to implement and support all the work done with children and families. Here’s the whole crew after a long day of training!

Glad to have great partners overseas with Guam Public Schools, Guam Behavioral Health and Wellness Center, and Guam System of Care!

  1. I remember John talking many times about the use of the CANS and culture. He described his last visit to Guam as amazing and how the CANS can be responsive…what he calls ‘cultural humility.’
